Many things have impressed me about Michelle and her daycare, the most important of which was how Michelle engaged with my daughter right from the outset, got down on her level and started to play with her. She is always happy and welcoming and I genuinely feel like she treats my daughter as well as she treats her own children.This is in contrast to other childcare providers that I met with who would talk to me and pay little regard to my daughter. With them I believed this was just a job to them, whereas with Michelle I feel that she genuinely loves the kids and enjoys having them in her home. In terms of taking hassle and worry out of my working day, nothing could be better than that.

Other things include the fact that Michelle's home is always spotless (I don't know when she has the time...), she has an abundance of toys, books, games, an outside play space with outdoor toys, and she doesn't just "babysit", but looks to give the kids a varied and interesting and educational day. She also has "proper" sleeping facilities which was equally reassuring to me.

In short, I feel extremely lucky to have found Michelle and got a spot at her daycare which is also quite near my home. It has made my transition back into full-time working much smoother than I ever expected.

I have no problem dropping Tyson off in the morning.She welcomes him with open arms, and is very loving towards him. He loves going to see her, and she says her name as soon as we pull into the driveway.This makes it a lot easier on myself as a parent, knowing that I am leaving my child with someone else during the days that I work.

Ella has now been in Michelle's care for almost 2 months and I never worry. Ella is excited to be there as soon as she walks in the door and when I pick her up she sometimes doesn't want to leave.At supper when we ask her what her favorite part of the day was,it's always "going to Michelle's". It such a good feeling to know that our daughter is getting healthy snacks and lunches, lots of different kinds of play, wonderful care and lots of love.

Now kai darts into the play area,where there is an inviting world of books,activities and toys, which is always spotless and well kept. Michelle even prepares activity sheets for him to bring home to prep him for preschool. The look on Kai's face when he shows me his handmade art and projects is priceless. Many times,Kai doesn't even want to leave Tiny Tots to go home!

In our busy lives, we take comfort in knowing that Michelle and her family will always take care of our child like a member of their own family. She has a very hands-on approach, and encourages all the children to grow at their own pace. Michelle is always full of smiles and positive spirit, and Kai has thrived in her care.
